Congratulations to our new teachers! The purpose of the West Genesee Central School District Mentoring Program for probationary teachers is to improve instruction by retaining highly qualified new and experienced teachers. The Mentoring Program benefits both the mentor and the mentee; more importantly, however, instructional benefits will accrue for the students. Teachers never having received mentoring will be paired with a mentor for 12 months commencing with the start date with the District. Thank you to our experienced teachers for volunteering to take part in the Mentor Program and supporting our newest colleagues!
