CHORAL CAMP – For students entering grades 7‐12. Typically runs during weeks 2, 3, and 4 of July. The students will get to sing pieces ranging from popular music to vocal jazz and Broadway. If you are on vacation for a week or need to miss a day or two, don’t worry! We want you in the choir! No vocal audition is necessary. There will be a final concert performance at the end of the camp. All classes will be taught by our expert West Genesee Staff. 2024 - Monday-Friday, July 8-26; Noon-1:30pm; $65.00 fee (includes T-shirt); Concert - Friday 7/26 @ 11:30am.

JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATER CAMP – For students entering grades 5-8. Typically run during weeks 3 & 4 of July. Any student looking for a chance to build their stage skills will love this offering! The students will participate in a Broadway style revue. Activities will include group singing rehearsal, blocking and choreography. No vocal audition is necessary. There will be a final performance of the revue at the end of the camp. All classes will be taught by our expert West Genesee Staff. 2024 - Monday-Friday, July 15-26; 9:00-11:30am; $95.00 fee (includes T-shirt); Concert - Friday 7/26 @ 11:30am.

SENIOR MUSICAL THEATER CAMP – For students entering grades 9-12. Typically run during weeks 3 & 4 of July. Any student looking for a chance to build their stage skills will love this offering! CONCERT BAND CAMP – For students entering grades 5-9. Typically run during the first full week of August. Students will be divided into age‐level bands. They will learn two pieces with their band and will also break out into smaller groups and music reading sessions to review and explore new concepts. There will be a final concert performance at the end of the camp. All classes will be taught by our expert West Genesee Staff. 2024 - Monday-Friday, August 5-9; 9:00-11:30am; $80.00 fee (includes T-shirt); Concert - Friday 8/9 @ 11:30am.

JAZZ BAND CAMP – For students entering grades 5-12. Typically run during the first full week of August. All Summer Jazz students learn and practice jazz tunes as well as improvisation skills in small group settings. All band instruments and traditional jazz instruments (piano, bass and drum set) will be accommodated into a band or combo. There will be a final concert performance at the end of the camp. All classes will be taught by our expert West Genesee Staff. 2024 - Monday-Friday, August 5-9; 12:00-1:00pm; $65.00 fee (includes T-shirt); Concert - Friday 8/9 @ 11:30am.

STRING CAMP – For students entering grades 5-9. Typically run during the last full week of August. For students entering grades 5-9. The daily schedule will include orchestra rehearsal, group lesson, craft class, note reading and rhythm class, bucket drumming, music theory/singing class, improvisation and jazz musicianship plus lunch/socializing time. There will be a final, informal performance at the end of camp. 2024 - Monday-Friday, August 19-23; 10:00am - 2:00pm; $105.00 fee (includes drawstring backpack); Concert - Friday 8/23 @ 12:00pm.

JUMP START STRINGS – For students entering grade 4. Typically run during the last full week of August. Jump Start students will work with a master teacher and high school student-helpers in a group class setting. Parents are encouraged to attend the classes to facilitate daily practice at home. Jump Start students will learn the basics for beginning string instruments, covering the material usually covered in the first 6-7 school lessons for beginners. There will be a final, informal performance at the end of camp. 2024 - Monday-Friday, August 12-23; Students will bring home and invitation to Jump Start if they select a string instrument during the instrument selection process at the end of the school year.
